S was 48 years old when she had a heart attack. She had three blockages and had to have surgery. M was 29 when she had a blood clot and family history that caused her heart attack. Neither one of these ladies is what I would call old, especially M. Out of around 160 people that work at the high school, it is these two ladies that have had heart trouble. I know of none of the men, and I know them all and having a good ear in the grapevine, who have had a heart attack. I would consider this a high percentage of female to male with heart trouble. Though we don’t hear about it much, women are just as likely to have heart problems as men. Both these ladies work in the office together. Interesting world.
